The common medical issues in the first months in Spain are gastroenteritis, sunburn and cold. Changes in the food, alcohol abuse and a lack of sleep are the main causes. In your first days in Spain you should rest and get use to the new schedule.
If you need medical attention, you have available the following options:
EAP medical insurance works during your whole stay in Spain (and also when travelling abroad). You have the option to choose the doctor you want. Medication prescribed by the doctor is also covered.
STEPS:
1. pay the doctor and the medication (do not forget to ask for a receipt)
2. Fill in a Claim Form (doctor signature is not neccesary). This form is available in our office of EAP.
